in 2020 and 2021, Rutgers students were forced to graduate amid the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Rutgers felt they needed to reward and acknowledge these students still, so they asked Snoop Dogg to come help the graduates have a celebration they'll never forget.

On October 23, Snoop Dogg arrived at SHI Stadium with his signature gold Telefunken microphone and decked out in Rutgers merch. He was set to perform with Warren G, and neither one of them disappointed the crowd in the slightest. The 40 minute Snoop portion included tributes to Nipsey Hussle and Tupac, legends of the rap game whose souls were unfortunately taken too soon.
